SMART NODES
are installed in each streetlight or luminaire.
Check
out the list of compatible SMART NODES here. Compatible
SMART NODES are communicating using the standardized LONWORKS
technology and protocol. They enable lamp dimming, lamp and
ballast failure identification, energy metering and remote control.

STREETLIGHT CONTROLLER
are installed in each supply cabinet
(also called feeder pillar). The compatible
Streetlight Controllers must provide
services including astronomical clock
(switch ON/OFF at dawn/dusk), scheduler
to dim the lamp during the night,
local datalogging, data communication
over open TCP/IP networks and remote
control through a standardized interface
such as XML and Web Service.

TELECOM:
GPRS, ADSL, WiFi and WiMAX are supported
by the solution. Any other TCP/IP
network can be supported on request,
e.g. Broadband Over Powerline.

STREETLIGHTMONITORING.COM:
this unique online monitoring service
leverages the power and features of
the Streetlight.Vision(r) software.
It aggregates and filters data from
hundred thousands of SMART NODES through
thousands of STREETLIGHT CONTROLLERS
and transform them into meaningful
business information, delivered to
streetlight operators through the
STREETLIGHTMONITORING.COM Web Portal
and to third party applications through
the open software interfaces (web
services, sql, RSS data flow).
