Streetlight.Vision Flash News: Kelly Western Services Ltd that operates an aircraft hangar at Winnipeg Airport (Canada) has equipped hangars with ROMLIGHT’s electronic dimmable smart ballasts as well as Streetlight.Vision software to save 63% of energy. They replaced 1000W magnetic ballast and inefficient fixtures with the ROMLIGHT’s LonWorks-Enabled ballast to increase light level at 100% power and to apply dimming schemes thanks to the LonWorks-based Streetlight.Vision monitoring solution. Kelly Western Services Ltd reduced CO² emissions by almost 200 tons per year.

 
OPERTEC to reduce energy for Portuguese Highways

Streetlight.Vision Flash News: OPERTEC, a Facility Management company in Portugal, has successfully deployed the Streetlight.Vision streetlight monitoring software and the ROMLIGHT 150W and 250W electronic dimmable ballasts to reduce energy consumption by 40% in average on the Portuguese highways. "The return on investment of the solution is in the range of 4 years thanks to a cleaver dimming strategy", announces Miguel Lira, general manager of OPERTEC, "We'll now be addressing the whole network of highways in Portugal as well as cities with the same solution".

 
Dublin to extend its installation

Streetlight.Vision Flash News: DUBLIN (Ireland) extends its installation of SELC smart ballasts controlled by the Streetlight.Vision Software. Early 2010, South Dublin County Council started the installation of several hundred of SELC LonWorks-compatible electronic dimmable ballasts in Halophane luminaires. The main goal of this project was to reduce energy consumption while increasing control and safety. Work has also commenced on the installation of over 300 streetlights incorporarting this smart lighting technology, this project extends along 8 kilometers of towpath of the high profile "Dublin Grad Canal/Green Route Project". According to South Dublin County Council, the SELC 2000 electronic ballast in conjunction with the dimming programmability and control provided by the Streetlight.Vision software enables up to 40% energy savings and reduced maintenance.

Streetlight.Vision Flash News: SECE to control lights in Monterols Park, Barcelona

SECE, a major streetlight maintenance company located in Barcelona (Spain), has provided the city of Barcelona with energy saving and control of all the luminaires of the Monterols Park. Thanks to SECE’s lighting expertise, to the Streetlight.Vision software and to the LonWorks Light Controllers from SCS Lighting, the installation eliminates the need for night patrols in Monterols Park and reduces the energy consumption by 60%.
